I’m a barrister, part-time YouTuber, founder of Lexstery and the podcast host of The Robing Room®. I work in London and have a strong interest in exploring tools and tricks that can optimise our performance and wellbeing in the pursuit of curating a healthier happier and more successful life.
As a criminal barrister, I prosecuted cases in the Magistrates Court, Youth Court and Crown Court across England and Wales. If you’re involved in the criminal justice system and want to share your story, register your interest to come on my True Crime podcast – The Robing Room®
In my spare time, I create YouTube videos, and as the founder of Lexstery, I am building the UK’s first and free online community of aspiring lawyers (solicitors and barristers).
Starting a career in law can be overwhelming, which I appreciate coming from a state school background and having no legal contacts at the start of my journey. Whatever your background, I can help you realise your aspirations and qualify as a lawyer in England and Wales. I’m always here to help, so if you need anything, feel free to reach out 🙂
I was born and raised in Greater Manchester and spent a year in Syria learning Arabic.
I attended Wilmslow High School, turned my academic performance around, and became captain of the badminton team.
I took a gap year, worked at Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and backpacked through Australia and Southeast Asia.
I studied Law and Criminology (LL.B) at the University of Sheffield, followed by a Master’s in Corporate and Commercial Law (LL.M).
I worked as a construction paralegal, volunteered at Manchester Crown Court, and interned at a death-row office in New Orleans.
I completed the Bar Training Course with Distinction, worked at the ICO, and launched a YouTube channel.
I secured pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service and qualified as a practising criminal barrister.
